    Athens’ urban scene fades away on the journey to sleepy Hydra, where hillside mansions overlook quiet harbours. Whitewashed homes contrast lunar-esque shores in Milos, rising along volcanic slopes to blue-domed roofs in Santorini and Kalymnos. Bodrum’s tangerine sun sets the sky ablaze during an unhurried overnight, before continuing to ancient Rhodes and the nearby Acropolis of Lindos.
